Key Features

Three-tier memory system with session state, daily logs, and curated long-term memory that survives context window resets
WAL Protocol (Write-Ahead Logging) that captures critical details before responding, preventing context loss during high-usage periods
Autonomous cron capabilities for background maintenance tasks like code cleanup, documentation updates, and system health checks
Compaction recovery that automatically restores context after session truncation, ensuring continuity across long-running workflows
Security hardening with explicit protections against prompt injection, context leakage, and unvetted skill installations
Reverse prompting that surfaces helpful ideas and suggestions proactively rather than waiting to be asked

Use Cases

Building persistent AI assistants that remember project context across multiple coding sessions
Creating self-improving development environments where the agent learns your preferences over time
Automating routine maintenance tasks while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions
Running long-duration projects where context continuity is essential for quality output

How It Works

The skill installs a set of markdown assets including an onboarding guide, memory templates, and security audit scripts. When your agent detects the ONBOARDING.md file, it initiates a setup process that configures memory persistence, proactive behavior patterns, and safety boundaries. The agent then operates with a "relentless resourcefulness" philosophy — trying multiple approaches before requesting help and self-healing when issues arise.

Getting Started

Copy the skill's markdown assets to your workspace directory. The agent will automatically detect ONBOARDING.md and begin the configuration process. Run the included security audit script (

./scripts/security-audit.sh

) to verify the installation meets your safety requirements. Licensed under MIT-0 for unrestricted use.
