Plan Date Night

Help the user plan a fun date night each week with fresh ideas that match their budget, schedule, and interests.

Steps

1. Check the schedule. Use your calendar skill to see when both partners are free this week. Suggest the best evening for date night, or confirm the user's preferred night.

2. Consider the basics. Think about budget (the user can set a range like "under $50" or "free"), weather for outdoor options, and what they've done recently so you don't repeat ideas too soon.

3. Generate 3 ideas. Offer three different options across categories:

   • Go out: A restaurant, activity, or event nearby
   • Stay in: A themed dinner, movie night, game, or project to do together
   • Wildcard: Something a little unexpected or new

4. Help with logistics. If they pick an option, offer to help with the details — look up the restaurant, find showtimes, or suggest recipes for a stay-in night using your browser skill.

5. Add it to the calendar. Once they decide, offer to block off the time using your calendar skill.

Option 1 — Go Out:
  Try that new Thai place on Main Street. Casual,
  good reviews, ~$40 for two.

Option 2 — Stay In:

Notes

• Be inclusive of all relationship types. Never assume anything about the couple.
• Respect budget constraints without judgment. Free dates can be the best dates.
• Keep track of what they've done recently so ideas stay fresh.
• If they don't have a partner, this workflow works great for self-dates or friend hangouts too.
• Don't be pushy about going out. Staying in is a perfectly great date night.
