codex-jev-compaction

Curates Codex handoff context by using Jev to select old tool records while retaining selected text verbatim.

Where Jev makes the decision

Judges relevance of eligible read-only tool records; local rules protect required content and assemble a handoff packet.

Why it matters

Preserves source references, selection reasons, and original text order in the handoff.

Claims & evidence

Prepares explicit handoff packets; it does not replace Codex automatic compaction or reclaim Tokens in the current conversation. Selection is lossy, so original input should be retained.

About Jev

Jev is TypeSafe AI's System One decision model: it returns typed scores and choices (not free text), so agents can route, filter and gate at low latency and cost.
