How It Works

ByteRover operates through a simple query-curate workflow. Before starting work, agents run brv query to understand existing patterns and conventions. Getting Started

Install globally with npm install -g byterover-cli. The default LLM provider requires no API key. Run brv query in your project directory to start retrieving context, and brv curate after completing work to store new patterns.
